The Music Room Lamp
$145
PL-000045 · Circa mid-20th centuryAn adjustable brass piano lamp of beautifully utilitarian construction, designed to cast a broad pool of light across a keyboard, score or writing surface. Twin articulated rods allow the long cylindrical reflector to be raised and angled, with substantial knurled tightening hardware and a weighted circular base. Decades of oxidation have softened the brass into a wonderfully varied patina.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface variation and patina. Please see all photographs for detail.
Operation
Plugged in and verified operational by Patina & Light. This confirms operation when tested, not electrical safety certification; professional inspection is recommended before regular use.
A note about vintage
Patina & Light objects have lived before. Small marks, softened edges, surface variation, patina and signs of handling are part of that history. We photograph and describe condition carefully, but we do not expect an old object to look new — nor would we want it to.
Please review all photographs and condition notes before purchasing. Questions, additional photographs and measurements are always welcome.
We believe age should be understood, not erased.
