Shipping Policy

Every Patina & Light object is packed according to its particular needs.

A small brass box, a framed painting and a floor lamp do not travel the same way, and we do not believe they should be treated as though they do.

Standard parcel shipping

Smaller pieces that can safely travel by standard carrier will show shipping options at checkout.

Orders are generally prepared for shipment within 3–5 business days, although unusually fragile or complex pieces may require additional preparation time.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

For higher-value or fragile pieces, Patina & Light may require insurance and/or signature confirmation.

Freight, oversized and white-glove delivery

Large, heavy, exceptionally fragile or unusually shaped pieces may be marked:

These shipping charges are not included in the listed purchase price unless specifically stated.

After purchase, we will contact you to arrange an appropriate carrier and provide the shipping or delivery cost before the piece leaves our care.

No freight piece will be dispatched until delivery arrangements and associated charges have been approved and paid.

Local pickup

Local pickup may be available for selected pieces by prior arrangement.

Pickup appointments must be confirmed in advance. Pieces should not be considered ready for pickup until Patina & Light has confirmed the appointment.

Packaging

Whenever possible, we use packing methods appropriate to the age, material and fragility of the object.

Some pieces may require double-boxing, specialized materials, custom cartons or professional packing.

Delivery timing

Carrier delivery estimates are estimates only. Once a package has been transferred to the carrier, delays caused by weather, transportation interruptions or other circumstances outside our control may occur.

We will always do our best to assist if a shipment is delayed or misplaced.

Shipping address

Please review your shipping address carefully before placing your order.

Patina & Light is not responsible for delays or additional costs resulting from an incorrect address supplied at checkout.

International shipping

International shipping is not routinely offered through checkout.

If you are outside the United States and interested in a piece, please contact us before purchasing to see whether safe shipment can be arranged.
