The Library Swing
$145
PL-000026 · Circa 1980s–1990sTall, architectural and wonderfully functional, The Library Swing borrows the language of classical lighting and gives it a late-20th-century interpretation. A deeply fluted column rises from a substantial stepped plinth on four stylized feet, while a double-jointed arm allows the light to move gracefully outward. Decades of oxidation have softened the brass, settling into the recesses. Equally at home beside an old leather reading chair or within a spare contemporary room.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface variation and patina. Please see all photographs for detail.
Operation

A note about vintage
Patina & Light objects have lived before. Small marks, softened edges, surface variation, patina and signs of handling are part of that history. We photograph and describe condition carefully, but we do not expect an old object to look new — nor would we want it to.
Please review all photographs and condition notes before purchasing. Questions, additional photographs and measurements are always welcome.
We believe age should be understood, not erased.
