PL-000100 · Hand-hammered copper · 20th centuryWorked by hand and left to time, this humble copper vessel has acquired a surface richer than ornament. Hammer marks travel unevenly across its walls while decades of oxidation have shifted the metal from glowing copper to russet, umber and near-black, with occasional traces of verdigris. A utilitarian form transformed by age into something quietly sculptural.
Condition
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate surface variation and patina. Please see all photographs for detail.
