PL-000090 · Circa 1950s–1970s · Maker: Elpec, EnglandAn English hand-worked brass box by Elpec, fashioned with a gently domed lid, ring handles and decorative clasp. Its hammered surfaces retain the irregularities of its making alongside decades of scratches, oxidation and mellowing — an object made for use rather than display.
